Project: Creative Thumbnails

A selection of custom thumbnails created for tennis, lifestyle, culture and sports. Each thumbnail is designed to stop the scroll in under a second while staying true to the brand and story of the video.

I focus on:

- Clear, bold subject (face, action, or key object) with strong contrast so it reads even on a phone.
- Emotion and narrative in a single frame – curiosity, tension, or “I need to see what happens next.”
- Clean composition and hierarchy so the eye goes from face → action → context without noise.
- Color and lighting tuned to stand out in the YouTube feed while matching the channel’s overall look.

These thumbnails were selected because they consistently outperformed more generic options: higher CTR, better retention on the first few seconds, and clearer alignment between what the viewer sees in the thumbnail and what they actually get in the video.
